The Vaisala CARBOCAP® GMP251 Carbon Dioxide Probe is a percentage-scale range CO2 measurement solution designed for demanding applications such as life science incubators, cold storage, fruit and vegetable transportation.
With an operating temperature range of -40 to +60 degrees Celsius and a measurement range of 0 to 20% CO2, the GMP251 is a smart and autonomous probe.
The GMP251 probe uses Vaisala’s second-generation CARBOCAP® technology to ensure exceptional stability. Instead of the traditional incandescent lamp, it uses a new infrared (IR) light source that extends the life of the probe.
The probe is temperature and pressure compensated during CO2 measurement and has a built-in temperature measurement to ensure compensation. The sensor head is heated to prevent condensation, and features a digital output to RS-485 with Vaisala and Modbus industrial protocol. The product always includes a calibration certificate.
