This is achieved through laminar airflow, controlled air exchanges, and a slight overpressure, preventing the entry of external contaminants into container transit areas along the production line. Isolators are used to handle products in a controlled environment with external operator access, and can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
cRABS (Closed Restricted Access Barrier System) by COMECER are designed to enhance the distribution of parallel laminar flow; the doors are double-sealed with re-aspiration in the airtight cavity located on both the outer and inner parts. To access the system, operators must wear gloves. HEPA H14 absolute filters are used for supply, exhaust, and lamination, along with controlled-speed fans.
The integrity of processed products is ensured through the sterilization of the work chamber, maintaining Class A (ECGMP) conditions throughout the entire process. Internal pressure is constantly monitored and maintained within preset limits by controlling the speed of intake and exhaust fans, preventing untreated air from entering the chamber.
