viewLinc Continuous Monitoring System

Continuous monitoring for temperature, humidity and other parameters

The viewLinc Enterprise Server software monitors temperature, relative humidity, CO2, differential pressure, level, door switches, and more, offering low cost of ownership due to easy connectivity to your existing network, remote access, and scalability up to thousands of monitored locations. Multi-site monitoring is simple, global systems can be run off a single server location.

As the software component of the Vaisala environmental monitoring system, viewLinc provides alarming, real-time trend data, and reports for compliance with GxP regulations. With Vaisala’s industry-best sensors, viewLinc monitors temperature, relative humidity, CO2, differential pressure, level, door switches, and more. With the latest version of viewLinc, add Modbus-enabled devices to incorporate unlimited parameters into viewLinc: particle counters, flow and liquid measurements, and other sensors.

Ideal for multi-site and parameter monitoring, with a capacity of thousands of locations, viewLinc is used in diverse environmental monitoring applications. The software combines an easy-to-use Web-based interface with highly accurate devices that can be networked by any combination of connectivity options: Ethernet, PoE, Wi-Fi, or Vaisala’s proprietary long-range wireless technology VaiNet.

viewLinc Continuous Monitoring System

viewLinc software
The Vaisala continuous monitoring system is ideal for both light and heavy industrial environments, as well as GxP-regulated applications, the system integrates a wide selection of data loggers, transmitters and Modbus devices to monitor several parameters: temperature, relative humidity, dew point temperature, CO2, differential pressure, door contacts, and more. The viewLinc software is backwards compatible and able to access data created with older versions of the software.
Data loggers
Monitoring system data loggers include several probe and mounting options with flexible wired or wireless connectivity; Wi-Fi, Ethernet and PoE. Measurements from Vaisala data loggers are traceable to SI units through national metrology institutes or ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratories. There are intrinsically safe devices for hazardous/explosive areas. For non-Vaisala environmental monitoring systems and Building Automation systems, Vaisala’s OPC UA Server software integrates viewLinc data to your existing systems. Alternately, the viewLinc Application Programming Interface enables access to the viewLinc data base with a one‐time programming task.
Services and documentation
Vaisala’s team of engineers, metrologists and technical support experts are committed to ensuring that your continuous monitoring system functions flawlessly for many years. The system comes with a full suite of service options; from calibration services — onsite or in one of our accredited calibration laboratories — to installation, validation services, and support plans. We offer comprehensive documents, including IQOQ protocols and a GAMP-based GxP documentation package.

vLog VL software

vLog VL software - QSGroup

vLog VL software

for validation/mapping of GxP environments

The vLog system is the most accurate and effective solution for understanding your environments and complying with regulations. With easy set-up and placement of self- contained data loggers, you can be mapping a chamber in minutes.

vLog has multiple file security features that aid in regulatory compliance, including:

  • Security status of the data is identified on every report
  • Each time data is downloaded, vLog generates a unique checksum value, which is the Logger File ID number.
  • File ID numbers are referenced in: logger file creation reports, data logger files, trend graphs, tabular data, all printed reports

Vaisala vLog is a powerful validation/mapping software for downloading, analyzing and reporting information from Vaisala data loggers. The software is easy to use and designed for performing temperature and humidity mapping studies in GxP-compliant applications. The software includes calibration tracking for the sensors to ensure study results are reliable. The optional IQ/OQ protocol document ensures that vLog software operates with integrity, security and reliability.

For non-regulated, standalone data logging, we offer vLog SP software for basic trending and analysis.

Features
  • Security Control:Three levels of security to control access:Windows, domain level, and local account authentication.
  • File Security for Regulatory Compliance:Security status of the data is identified on every report to aid in compliance with for 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11.
  • System-wide Traceability:Built-in audit trail gives secure reports for time periods specified by users. No interaction with the system goes unrecorded.
  • Easy Data Transfer:Copy and paste or export graphs, .TXT and .CSV files into other Windows and/or database applications.
